Take your next step with Allilon. “Get Focused” is a one-day, hands-on course dedicated to mastering a single haircut from start to finish. Designed as the natural progression from our taster day, this course gives you the time, space and guidance to fully absorb one look, understand the decisions behind it, and confidently recreate it in the salon.

Each version of “Get Focused” centres on a different classic or on-trend shape. Your educator will begin the morning with a detailed demonstration, breaking down the strategy, sectioning, technique and refinement. In the afternoon, you’ll work on a mannequin to complete the full look yourself, supported with step-by-step mentoring and personalised feedback.

By the end of the day, you’ll walk away with a finished cut, a deeper understanding of our cutting system, and practical skills you can use immediately behind the chair.

Course Schedule

A structured and easy-to-follow day that takes you from observing the cut to completing it yourself.

9:30am Meet and greet
Introduction to the haircut of the day and the learning objectives.

9:45am – 1pm Morning Demo
Your educator performs the full haircut, explaining sectioning, technique, balance and refinement. Time for questions throughout.

1pm – 2pm Lunch

2pm – 5pm Afternoon Workshop
Step-by-step practical session on a mannequin. You will complete the full look with guidance, correction and personalised support from your educator.

5pm – 5:30pm
Refinement, recap, photos and certificates.

Our Dedicated Central London Hair Academy

Our academy is a beautiful creative space located in Holborn/Covent Garden in central London. The space is on the 4th floor of a listed Georgian Townhouse and boasts great light, original features and high ceilings.

What is the student teacher ratio?

Most of our courses, with the exception of the "Get Inspired" taster course, run with a strict ratio of eight students to one teacher. Our extremely low student teacher ratio means that you receive personalised feedback and guidance specific to you and your needs, enabling you to achieve your best and gain the very most from your time with us.

What tools do I need to bring with me?

For cutting courses you would need to bring: scissors, a cutting comb, sectioning clips, a hairdryer with a nozzle, a diffuser, straightening irons, a vess brush, a paddle brush, water spray, a neck brush

For the colour courses: a pin tail comb, a tinting comb, waterspray, avess brush & a paddle brush

For cutting and colour courses: scissors, cutting comb, cutting comb, pin tail comb, tinting comb, vess brush, paddle brush, neck brush, hairdryer, straightening irons, diffuser, water spray & sectioning clips

We will also send you an email before your course confirming all the required tools for your course.

Where is the academy?

Our Academy is located in the heart of the West-End on the 4th floor of stunning central London hair salon (and sister compnay) – Ena. The address is 5 Great Queen Street, London WC2B 5DG map. The nearest London Underground stations are Holborn (3 minute walk) & Covent Garden (6 minute walk).

Who will be the teacher on the course?

One of our highly experienced educators will be teaching you. As our educators frequently travel for international courses, shows, and seminars, we do not assign a fixed educator to each course. Your instructor will be confirmed close to the course date.

Are mannequins provided?

Yes, mannequins are provided and covered in the price of the course. We use Allilon real hair mannequins on all our academy courses.
